Agile SW Analyst Product Owner (PO)

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Agile SW Analyst Product Owner (PO) to support PEO MS, Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) PO. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO).
  • Provide oversight and prioritization of the Analysis team.
  • Collaborate with Solution Management to set priorities for the team during each product increment and sprint.
  • Conduct technical briefings and advise leadership on status, recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed.
  • Experience running end-to-end simulations of missile defense systems and performing post-run analysis.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues to leadership.
  • Ability to work with multiple customers and prioritize competing requests with management support.
  • Fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS.
  • Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM or KANBAN team is a plus.
