Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for an Apache SME/Engineer to support the SRD Division. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Provide full-time aerospace engineering support to the SRD.
• Provide worldwide technical and engineering support for US Army AH-64 rotorcraft.
• Specialize in drivetrain vibration monitoring, rotor smoothing, and shaft balances.
• Provide engineering support for HUMS systems.
• Evaluate and guide coefficients and algorithms.
• Review HUMS field testing and engineering evaluations.
• Write test plans, collect test data, and evaluate test results.
• Lead meetings and provide engineering expertise.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s and 10 years experience preferred/ PhD and 6 years/ Master’s and 8 years experience accepted.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong writing skills.
• Must be a US Citizen and have/able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time. US travel only.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with HUMS operations.
• Familiar with US Army documents and manuals
• Familiar with US Army Helicopters with strong experience on the AH-64 platform
• AH-64 Pilot experience
